(Response to Dad's e-mail, in which Dad talked about a visit from Dr. Feinberg of NMT--they took him to Temple Square and got a tour from Elder and Sister Ennis and saw the new First Vision film.)
Man thats so cool! Convert that Dr.! haha But yes, thank you. The Lord is greatly blessing us. I really wanna see this new first vision. We havent even heard anything about it here! Well I love you dad! Ill write the big letter in a sec!
(General e-mail)
Alright! I actually have to write all the do dads today! So first Id like to start off with a story. So we were coming back from Goutiere (I really have no idea how to spell that.) yesterday in a public car and apparently the keys to our house fell out of my sons pocket....We went to our next and last appointment not noticing that anything was amiss. We we finally returned to our house after a stellar lesson with Angela Ramirez, my comp suddenly got a very disturbed look on his face. He had discovered the fatal mistake!! As a result we were scittering around the rest of the night, trying to figure out what to do. Calling this member and this missionary and this taxi etc etc. (I found a huge tarantula bigger than my hand on the side of the house) Finally, the Zone Leaders told us to hitch a ride with our neighbor and have a sleep over in Valiente, the Zone LEader´s area. After a very rough nights sleep, and a Pday excursion, we continued bombarding the office with calls about how we could get into our house. They said that they could do absolutely nothing and that we would have to figure out a way to fix it, and pay for anything that we did/changed. Rather upset, we called our non member neighbor, who is also the chief of police (and Batman?), and he whipped out a crow bar and a hammer and within a minute, the door was open and without damage! Yay! He´s pretty awesome. He even made his first joke to us! Yay friendliness! But yeah, Im still wearing the same clothes as yesterday and havent showered, but that will all come in time. Plus its raining buckets so I guess we can call that good enough. Now spiritual stuff!
This week was good in some ways and bad in others. We had some really amazing lessons and lots of people progressing. We were supposed to have the baptism of Dapheney on saturday, but various things happened and we postponed it until this coming saturday. So that means that this week, Miriam, Liliani, and Dapheney will be baptised, and lots more for next month! I just hope I get to stay! We are also coordinating and generally working better with our ward so the work will soon be moving forward even faster! Also, this next week well be moving into our new chapel!! Good bye garbage echo building. Hello spirituality and reverence with a real church! Hurray! I wish I had more time to tell about all the amazing stuff we´ve seen, felt and recieved, but I dont. I love you all, hope you all have a great week, and pray that we can all discover our Divine Purpose and bring ourselves close to God and His Divine light, for that is the only way to true happiness. I am a living witness of that, and testify of the reality of the restored Gospel and the blessings and spectacular promises it brings. Wickedness never was happiness friends and family, and only the search for Gods Will in our lives can bring us the peace that we all seek.

(Response to Dad's e-mail, in which he discussed teaching Jacob 5 in Gospel Doctrine)
Sweet dad! Im actually just about so start that chapter! I dont have a whole bunch of time and cant access the link, but thanks! Love you!
(General e-mail)
Weekly letter will really be more of a weekly phrase. We just had to many things to do today and got to the internet late. Well this week was very interesting. We met an old investigator named Michael who now has a bap. date for next month. That makes 15. Lots of other cool stuff, we had 5 people in church, got a reference who also wants to be baptized, found another ref. who also wants to be baptized and had a general party with my first born in the wilderness. He´s so cool. He´s basically me, just alot more sheltered and home schooled. :P We also have interviews with President this week, so we´re all pretty pumped for that. I promise, more details next week. Love you all!

11 April 2016 - Boca Chica (Santo Domingo)
(Response to Dad's e-mail, in which he shared his excitement for the stake meeting its baptism goal, cards sent, Christian training and District Leader, and Mom mentioning the FIRM Foundation Expo including the Book of Mormon Evidence Conference).
Amen and Amen dad. Haha The ward package? from like 6 months ago???? Aside from Christmas I've only gotten cards. Are you guys sending them to the Miami address? Yeah, President Corbitt had a meeting with all the new training leaders where he expressed his love and confidence in us. It was very uplifting. Its also a blast. My sons Spanish is amazing (for a noob), because he studied for 3 years in high school. Yeah, MOm told me about the conference. THats really cool. I do have one doubt/question though, but Im gonna ask Dave and then maybe you guys can consult together or maybe the answer is just really simple. ANyway, Thanks Dad! Love you!!
(Response to the Easter picture)
Oh my gosh, Carson! He's so big! And adorable!
(General e-mail)
Alright. So. My son is a beast. He's teachin, he's tractin, he's puttin baptismal dates. He's just a beast. Love that kid. So we had an interesting week! We found a grand total of 18 new peeps to teach! And we didn't even contact that much! haha It was amazing! And alot of them already want to be baptized! We now have 14 baptismal dates, ranging from here to June, but more about that later. So I would like to share a few specific experiences from this week. First: I have been studying the Isaiah Chapters of the BoM and find it rather fascinating and much easier to understand. Well the other day, I finally got to the part where it mentions the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and talks about taking the sealed book to the different persons. The learned man rejects it because he seeks the glory of the world and thus believes that he knows all. The Unlearned man wont read it, simply because he can't read. The next part is the most interesting. That the Lord (almost wrote Senor), then qualifies the unlearned man, and gives him the needed knowledge to read the book. So now, the application. You might remember Daphni, the Haitian lady who recieved her answer at the temple. Well the other day we went to visit her and she told us that she had now read about half of the Book of Mormon! Here's the kicker: she can barely read! This was the same day in which I read those versus in Isaiah. So, I shared them with Daphni, and Testified that the Lord had qualified and commanded her to read His word. While we were reading it, she started crying. It was really amazing
Now, a funny experience. So our ward only has one ward missionary, an elderly sister named Mariana. She is awesome and loves to leave with us, but she's a little crazy. We were in a lesson with a few evangelicals and she started trying to convince them that all the Bible happened after the Flood. My companion and I were both trying very hard not to laugh while we corrected her. Then, as I was trying to explain that Peter was called as a prophet, she went off on a long winded scripture rant that ended in saying that all the apostles were prophets. (this was right after we had explained that God only calls one prophet at a time) Oh members... hahah It all turned out ok though.
So my time is gonna run out soon, but lets talk about the baptismal dates. The majority of them come from Miriams family, but there are several news and others who are just now feeling ready. So Miriam and Nicouri are going to be baptized on the 30th, along with a young girl named Ana Erika. Dahpnis date is for the 23, but Im not sure we're going to get her boyfriend situation fixed before that. It would probably be better if she just went back to Haiti and met the missionaries there.
Anyway, with all these people wanting to be baptized, only Ana Erika came to church. Thppppt. So when we went to teach Miriam and her family, I gave a rather heart pricking parable about keeping the Sabbath day holy and church attendence. They all promised to go to church the next week, and we put another baptismal date there. So that was basically the week! For Pday we did a hard core kitchen clean. we cleared out all the old cupboards, finding useful things and lots of garbage. My son almost wet himself when he found some ooooold spider corpses. So, I decided to be a good dad and fish them out for him (He's not a big spider fan. ;)) But yeah! Love you all! Love the work! I know that Christ is my savior and that He guides us in His work. Bye!

4 April 2016 - Boca Chica (Santo Domingo)
(Response to Dad's e-mail. There was more, but it was of a more personal nature. Also, the Frogley tradition is for the men and boys attending Priesthood Session to go out for Mexican before the session.)
Dad, I have some very bad news.................I did not eat Mexican on saturday. My heart was crushed. BUT We did eat semi authentic Italian pizza today, so that was pretty swell. My son is awesome! More about that in the big letter. Conference was truly inspiring. Wow. What a spirit.
(General e-mail)
Conference!! Man that was great! I didnt want it to end! I laughed, I cried. It moved me Bob. ( If any of you get that quote, Ill be proud of you.) Starting with President Eyerings testimony in the very beginning, the Spirit was just there. I loved the emphasis on families and how much our Heavenly family loves us. Elder Oaks´ talk about the purpose of oppisition was also really great. Elder Holland had me in almost in tears like normal. He is so amazing. I was a little concerned about how little we heard from our Prophet though. He only spoke for very brief intervals, especially in Priesthood session. Still amazing though.
The rest of the week! So tuesday I headed up to the capitol to pick up my son! His name is Elder Call from Spocan (no idea how to spell that) Washington. We are very similar and he too loves to sing! We got back to the house with our Zone Leaders and one of the senior missionary couples to find that....our house got robbed again! That makes 4 times now. The foolish mortal still didnt take anything actually valuable though. He snagged all our speakers and a fair amount of cash, tore through all my suitcases and stole my sandals. He didnttake my camera, the house DVD player, my nice shoes, my watch or any fans. Hurray! So we fixed up the back door, chained up the hole he made in our patio and pray that it doesnt happen again.
The rest of the week was pretty swell though! We had lots of meetings so we didn´t get too many lessons in, but the ones we had were great. We set 8 new baptismal dates too! Speaking of baptismal dates, I have to tell you about the miracles we saw in the last transfer. So the stake set an inspired goal of 90 baptisms for the trimester. At the beginning of last month, we still needed 46. We got 31 in the White Night, but we still needed 15. We were all kind of freaking out in how we were going to prepare 15 people for baptism in like 2 weeks. Well...the weeks past and we invited people with faith and zone put 14 baptismal dates. The day of the baptisms came and in the midst of the sacred ordinances, one of the investigators from one of the other areas recieved her answer. She told the Elders she wanted to be baptized. They rushed off to do the interview, got her changed, and she was the 15th baptism to fulfill our goal of 90. Last transfer we saw so many miracles in preparing for this inspired goal. It was truly spectacular. This taught us all to trust more and more in the Lord, and less in ourselves. When the Lord says we can do something, He means it.
As for our current baptismal dates, we have Miriam who is totally awesome. She lives in Goatierre (the little town in our area. Kind of far away) and is the cousin of the only member that lives out there. She has a huge desire to join the church. She read the restoration pamphlet and practically memorized it before our next visit. We put a date with her and alot of her cousins. We also have Dafni...again. Dafni reeeaaally wants to be baptized, but is still living with her bum of a boyfriend. So we have to get him to shape up and also get the married. We´re going to have a family home evening with them tonight, so we´ll see if we cant get Francisco (the BF) to participate. Well, I love you all! Have a great week!
