One thing missionaries learn pretty quickly is that missionary work keeps you busy. One thing they don't learn until they get back is that the rest of life does that, too. Sorry to burst the bubble of you young'ns, but life only gets busier. I have seven kids, though, so part of that busy-ness I brought on myself :).
Alright so we had a CRAZY week! Tuesday was Zone conference so that took the entire day. and then the next day we were in the middle of a devision with Elder white like three hours away from our area and then we got a call from the APs that we were having an emergency devision! They said we had three hours to get to the center! So we called Elder white and he freaked out and grabbed a cab to get back faster. When he got back he had to pack all his bags in like 20 min. Which is hard for Mr. Monk to through down so he was freaking out more. Then we called a cab to get to the center (about 20 min away). When the cab got to our house we still had to wait for like 10 more minutes for White to get ready and apparently the cab didnt have that much pacients. So he left and we had to call and wait for another cab! Finally we got to the mission office in the center on time (milagre)! We sat around and waited for the pres to interview everyone there, about 10 missionaries. And then I got my new companion! His name is Elder Rowland! Hes from Cali and hes an ex drug dealer! Hes sooooo sick!! Love this kid, we have some good times. I can actually talk to him! Elder White got shipped off to be an LZ somewhere. The reason for the transfer is Elder Rowland was the senior companion of Elder Bispo who NEVER wanted to work and would just complain. Elder Rowland refused to be his Senior any more so asked pres for a transfer so I got Rowland and Bispo is in a trio. But because of all the chaos we didnt get to teach much. We do have three bapisms marked for next week! And were trying to devorce a couple in order to get them married so they can get baptised! And were baptising their two sons next saturday. Yuri and Yori. Theyre sick! Yuri is only 11 and he LOVES reading the BoM! We give him anything to read and he reads it like 10 times so hes sure he understands it! And he ALWAYS has questions. He knows tons about the Bible and he always asks questions. Like a complicated one from the other day is he asked why we dont have church on Saturday because it says in the scriptures that Sabado is the holy day which means the Sabath in English but in portuguese litteraly means Saturday. He answered his own question on that one and it wasnt even a problem. Any way, we have a birthday party to hit up now for me by the members so Ill catch ya later! Love ya fam!Elder FrogleyPics next week (to crazy this week)
