3 June 2013 - Maceió Brazil

This week my dad decided to torment Elder Frogley with stories of hiking (or hyking, as Elder Frogley spells it), canyons, and pizza. Elder Frogley retorts with ghetto (ghedo) shacks and trash. Though he does have some nice ocean-front property :)

Ahhhhhhhhh, thats sounds sooo nice... I dont have mountains here. Just ghedo little shacks and trash and the ocean. Haha, but Im growing to love it. Im going to travel up a storm when I get back. Do you guys mind if I bum out at home for a bit while I work and travel and catch up on life? that would be chill. Alrighty, time for the awesome week review! So This week we were mostly just accompanieing and prepping baptisims which we had two of, Ill send you pics next week! Milli finally got baptised on Friday!! Her interview was crazy and she is shameless! She just strait out asks the most awkward questions. She had problems starting the law of chastity and she didnt believe the world was simple enought to beable to have a living prophet now. She didnt think there was a pure enough man on earth. But we taught her and set her baptisim for Saturday, After we gave her some Thomas S Monson Conference talks and she read them, she called us up and told us she wanted to be baptised emediately!  so we through down her baptisim really fast on Friday! And the other baptisim was Yuri. Hes the smartest 11 year old ever! So cool. his Mom still wants to be baptised but the Dad has some problems. He just likes chilling in his church. He pretty much just plays video games all day. Thats what he does for a living. He tried to convince Yuri that it would be better to wair to be baptised later but Yuri shut down his dad down. He had questions about Baptisms for the dead and he asked what it ment when christ blessed the children. Hes like a 50 year old Man. He asks some deep questions. If he keeps this up hes going to be an apostle. Were still working with Cleide and Damiao and theyre doing lots better but still on ice. Theyre sooo imature! Dont worry about me, I can handle this stuff. Its pretty strait forword. Also my comp has already passed through here and hes almost done with his mission so he knows the area and how to teach pretty well! We marked another coupld baptisims for the next couplw weeks so Ill let ya know how it goes! Love yall!
